WHAT ARE THOSE WALKING TRAILS THAT EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT?
Woodland Park Estates will offer over 2 miles of 8' wide, paved recreational trails throughout the community. Every resident will be able to access the trail from their back yard. The trail will be lighted at each house with a standard yard-type carriage light. Imagine getting on the trail from your back yard, being able to walk though the wooded community, stopping to see your friends and neighbors, and being able to walk for over 2 miles though the relaxing Woodland Park environment. You will be able to drive your golf cart on the trail, electric powered only, to the 2-acre park that will be abundant with wildlife on the Woodland Lake, or take the kids to the kids playground.
Like to play tennis? A tennis court is planned for the community in Phase III. One lot is be reserved next to the kids park for a community house. If the residents so choose, it could be set up as a gathering facility as well as an exercise facility.
We talk constantly about how beautiful the trail will be when finished and lighted, and what this community of upscale homes will look like during the Christmas season. We can already envision the decorating contest that will be held by the residents. And when the lights on the streets go in, which will be be similar to downtown Lakeview, this community will come alive at night.
We have carefully crafted a set of development restrictions that will ensure the upscale integrity of the community. No boats or motorhomes parked on the streets, neat yards, beautiful fencing in the style of the community, pleasant colors, noise restrictions, in-ground pools only, no outbuildings and many other items for the safety and comfort of the residents. A community association will eventually govern Woodland Park Estates with its own residents.
